Weymouth Youth Football & Cheerleading Donate Shoulder Pads to a Program Rebuilding

Providence Packers appreciate the assistance

UpdatedWednesday May 31, 2017 bySuzanne Lucien.

Weymouth Youth Football and Cheerleading has donated some of their gently used pads to the South Providence Packers for the upcoming season.  As many may know from our previous post, the Packers were at risk of being shut down because of an illness with their president.  Due to the had work of Keesha Dickey ("Keesha") and others, the program has remained intact for at least one more year.

This program needed the support of its community and sister programs to help them continue to provide an outlet for these kids.  Weymouth was proud to be able to support them by donating the pads. This donation allows them to use their limited funds on other required items. Keesha was ecstatic to recieve another fabulous donation from the Baystate conference having recently recieved a $1,000 donation from our conference.  She said "I cannot thank the Baystate Conference enough. Your have all been so great in supporting us".

This is a season for giving and supporting our community. Please watch our Website for all of the other creative ways that the Baystate Associations will give back this year.
